Castellón. “This certificate marks a major milestone in our journey within the sector, where we intend to continue innovating every day to obtain cleaner, safer and more efficient port areas”, asserts to this newspaper the CEO and COO of Estudio Cactus, Pablo Aguirre.
Specifically, in relation to the software solutions offered by Estudio Cactus to reinforce the security and protection of port facilities, the company from Castellón has obtained “the certification in Technological Innovation for its security solutions in port logistics terminals, certified by EQA”, explains Aguirre.
After the launch of Stowlog, a project that aims to prevent accidents and detect threats in port logistics areas “and which was awarded by the British government,” says the CEO, this certificate demonstrates the company's commitment to innovation within the sector and adds to the ISO27001 certificate on the Information Security Management System.
Stowlog is precisely an example of this, since it is a “Health, Safety, Security and Environment” management software that combines the digitalization and automation of processes with geopositioning and 3D mapping technologies, obtaining safer, cleaner and more efficient port logistics facilities.
On the other hand, it should be noted that Estudio Cactus is currently positioned in more than 30 international logistic-port facilities with its technology.
In fact, a few months ago, the consultancy confirmed that, in collaboration with the Portsmouth International Port, it had been selected by the UK Ministry of Transport as the winning SME of the Freight Transport Innovation Fund to test its health, safety and environment software, designed to provide port operators with real-time information to improve resource management.
